- Volkov first set his eyes upon McPolin farm 20 years ago, and it has become a sort of pilgrimage ever since. For years, he always desired to hike up the hill across the street to study it from a bird's eye view. Even though this trek soaked his boots and froze his toes, his soul soared gazing upon his muse, warmly nestled in the meadow during that perfect glow of dusk. He could feel his spirit fly over and around the barn, providing a new joy and deeply profound sentiment recognizing the significance of changing one's perspective. A mere shift in approach allowed him to experience McPolin as if for the first time, and he fell in love all over again.
